MELTING POINT OF PETROLEUM WAX (COOLING CURVE). This method describes a procedure for determination of the melting point of petroleum wax (cooling curve). It is unsuitable for waxes of the petrolatum group, the petroleum ceresin group, or to blends of such waxes with paraffin wax or scale.
