Flash Point testers are universally specified in many international regulations to define and classify flammable and combustible substances.
Pensky-Martens Flash Point testers aim to simulate the situation of a liquid spill in a closed environment. The closed cup gives a realistic and safe flash point; Cleveland Open Cup are used to assess the safety hazard of a liquid or semi-solid with regard to its flammability so that it can be classified into a group; Abel Flash Point & Tag testers are used to test for adulteration, contamination and assess the potential hazards of liquid in a restricted space in products such as aviation turbine fuel, kerosene, solvents and chemicals; Small Scale Flash Point testers provide the most precise and fastest means of carrying out flash point tests on a definitive flash/no flash basis, both in the laboratory and the field.
